Testimonials
"When I first went to Rosie, I was really depressed. I was really confused about how I felt and couldn't cope with normal daily activities. Within 8 weeks of Rosie's help, i felt totally different. I now feel stronger than I did before my problems and feel that what i've learnt has helped me long term."
I went to Rosie for counselling during a particularly stressful period of my life, and she was just about the perfect counsellor for my needs. As soon as I met her I felt confident in her, and able to talk to her with ease. She listened patiently to my problems, never made me feel stupid or embarrassed, and helped me to calm down. Then over a number of weeks she helped me to understand myself and why certain events had affected me so badly, she guided me as I built up confidence in myself and my ability to deal with life's problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rosie to anyone who felt in need of Counselling.
Before I started therapy sessions I found the whole idea a little intimidating, uncomfortable and probably not for me. But having taken that first step of deciding to g, Rosie was great at making me feel comfortable and relaxed and I found myself talking about stuff that I simply couldn't open up about to my close friends or family. Pretty much from the first session it seemed to be a liberating experience to the point where I actually looked forward to the sessions and talking about my issues with someone who was not judgemental in any way, but very understanding and insightful. I'm sure my life will have its ups and downs in the future but for the first time in a long while i feel more confident and in control, and its no coincidence that this is after a number of sessions with Rosie. If you're sceptical i'd say give it a try, there's lots to gain and nothing to lose.
I decided to go into therapy because of a very difficult period in my teens that led me to 10 years of substance abuse. Rosie helped me to realise my reasons for turning to substances and the triggers in my personality, within 6 months I had stopped completely and have not had any desire to return to my self destructive ways since. This wasn't easy it took hard thorough work to help me to cope in normal daily life. I learned to curb the temptations of my past and I am now stronger than I have been for a very long time and am much happier with myself and my decisions in general. Rosie is an extremely professional and understanding therapist whom I would recommend to anyone. I trust her completely and thoroughly enjoyed our sessions together.
We can't thank you enough for the help you have given to us that has saved our marriage and made life for our family a more loving and happier environment to be in. Its been such a huge help to us and we know we are going to be ok now. We have the tools we need to make our marriage work. The future looks good and its thanks to the couples work we did with you.
We cant thank you enough for all of your help, love and patience with us in our couples work. We have come a long way... still a little way to go, but now we have an understanding of one another which means we don't keep making the same mistakes that got our relationship into difficulty.
Thank you for helping me sort myself out. I have always appreciated your non judgemental and calming approach. I feel I have turned a massive corner and am so much happier for it.
I wanted to say a big thank you for all your help over the last few months. You've helped me to appreciate things about myself which I was not able to identify on my own. More than anything else I really appreciate the kindness that you showed me alongside your insightful words. I know I cant carry you around in my pocket (I wish I could) but I will never forget what I learned in our therapy together.
My first thought was that I should have done this 10 years ago. To my initial surprise Rosie didn't give me any straight answers during therapy instead she enabled me to see myself from an outsiders point of view. I found this scary, difficult and exciting all at the same time. Rosie let me digest my findings at my own pace, and I must mention that Rosie's professional and supportive approach was crucial for me to move forward in a constructive way. Today I have a much fuller life where all aspects of my life have the chance to develop. The growing positive feedback from my environment has happily surprised me, even if maybe it shouldn't. Finally I would like to use this testimonial to say thank you to Rosie for an amazing journey that has enabled my future.
